A True Love Story

Ghazal and Yanir's love story is a tale of chance, choice, and time and distance-defying love. It is a celebration of finding love when hearts align, and the enchanting journey that follows.

Ghazal and Yanir lived just a mile apart in Los Angeles and attended the same middle and high school, yet they didn't meet until March 2014, when a mutual friend introduced them. They immediately clicked and became close friends. During college, they made the most of every break and holiday to spend time together. 

In August 2017, Ghazal was moving back home from Davis and Yanir had just finished a summer internship in London. They coincidentally had just three days to overlap in Los Angeles before Yanir had to leave for Boston University. They spent those days at Malibu Beach, sharing stories of their summer and laughing for hours. As they gazed into each other's eyes, their emotions stirred and a deeper bond formed. Unbeknownst to Ghazal, Yanir had had a crush on her for the past three years of their friendship. Ghazal now shared those same feelings.

Despite the distance, they stayed connected through marathon FaceTime calls. Sleep became secondary to their connection. After graduating, Yanir moved back to Los Angeles to be with Ghazal. Since then, they have explored the world together, nurturing their love through shared adventures and experiences across continents.

 

Ghazal and Yanir knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Yanir wanted to make it official in a way that Ghazal would love. He knew she wanted to visit Italy and loved gardens and ocean views, so he planned a trip to the Amalfi Coast. Against the breathtaking backdrop of a Ravello garden adorned with blooming bougainvilleas and a stunning coastline view, he took Ghazal's hand and expressed his love, asking her to be his forever partner. With tears of joy in her eyes, she immediately said "Always," accepting not just a ring, but a future filled with the promise of love, adventure, and shared dreams.
